1637 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Hashim narrated to us; Ibn al-Mubarak narrated, on the authority of al-Hasan, who said:

“An excellent abode this world has been for the believer: he performed only a little and from it secured his provisions for Paradise. And what a wretched abode it has been for the disbeliever and the hypocrite: they whiled away but a few nights in pleasure, and the provision they carried from it leads straight to the Fire.”
