1624 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Abu Qatan narrated to us; Abu al-Ashhab narrated to us, from al-Hasan, who said: “When a man was pricked by a thorn, he would say, ‘I know full well that this is on account of a sin, and my Lord—Exalted is He—has not wronged me.’”
