1611 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Rawḥ narrated to us; Hishām narrated to us, on the authority of al-Hasan, who said: “A man may enter a place, sit in a gathering, or eat a single meal, and his heart is changed. Beware of visiting people of luxury, for entering upon them alters a man’s heart until he becomes displeased with what is in his own hands.”
