1595 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Shujaʿ ibn al-Walid narrated to us; Yazid ibn Tawbah narrated to us, from al-Hasan, who said: “Whoever comes to know his Lord (Most High) loves Him, and whoever truly perceives this world becomes disenchanted with it. A believer does not busy himself with amusement to the point of heedlessness; and whenever he reflects, he is filled with sorrow.”
