1588 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Maʿmar narrated to us; Hisham narrated to us; from Mansur, who said: “Whenever al-Hasan set out on a journey and the companions produced their travel money, he would contribute an amount equal to what they had spent, and then he would quietly slip to the keeper of the funds something extra in addition to what he had already given.”
