1579 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father related to me; Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us; Nuh ibn Qays informed us, from Muhammad ibn Sayf, from al-Hasan, on the Almighty’s words, “We send the signs only as a warning” (Quran 17:59). He said, “It is the sweeping, all-consuming death.”
