1578 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father related to me; Sufyan ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from one of the people of Basra, from al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him), who said:
“May Allah have mercy on a servant who speaks and thereby gains benefit, or keeps silent and thus remains safe.”
