1571 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Nasr ibn ʿAli narrated to me; Nuh ibn Qays narrated to us; ʿAwn ibn Abi Shaddad narrated to me, saying: “Indeed, Allah—exalted is He—created, at the place where the sun sets, a white land whose very brightness is its whiteness. It is inhabited by a people who have never known that Allah has ever been disobeyed.”
