1564 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: “I found in the notebook of Bishr ibn al-Harith, written in his own hand, the following report: from Yahya ibn … , from Rabiʿah ibn Zadhan, from ʿIsa ibn Zadhan, who said: ‘A time will come upon the people when Satan will take up residence ⦗223⦘ in their very eyes; whoever then wishes to weep will do so.’”
