1563 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad ibn Abān ibn Ṣāliḥ ibn ʿUmar narrated to us; Ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us; from ʿĀṣim al-Aḥwal, from a man of Sadūs, from Abū Mūsā, who said: “The truthful companion is like a perfumer; even if his fragrance does not settle upon you, you will still catch a whiff of his pleasant scent.”
