1556 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Rawḥ narrated to us, Hāshim narrated to us, from al-Ḥasan, concerning His – Exalted is He – words: alladhīna hum yurāʾūn (those who show off):
“He who performs the prayer does so only for ostentation, and if he omits it, he is wholly indifferent to it.”
