1543 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Harun narrated to us; Sayyar narrated to us; Nuh ibn Qays narrated to us; al-Muʿalla ibn Ziyad al-Qurdusi narrated to us. He said: I asked al-Hasan, “Two men: one has dedicated himself solely to worship, while the other works to support his family. Which of them is better?” He replied, “The one who has devoted himself to worship is better.”
