1541 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Ziyad Abu ʿUmar, from al-Hasan, who said:
“Every believer knows that two angels have been appointed over him, recording his words and deeds. Therefore he keeps constant watch over what reaches them; the earnest striving of the night does not hinder the earnest striving of the day, nor does the earnest striving of the day hinder that of the night.”
