1539 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Yaʿqub al-Dawraqi narrated to us. He said: ʿAbd al-Rahman informed us; Bakr ibn Humran narrated to me, from Abu ʿAmir al-Khazzaz, who said: I heard al-Hasan say, “May Allah have mercy on the man who is not lured by the multitude of people he sees around him. Son of Adam, you will die alone, be placed in the grave alone, be raised on the Day of Resurrection alone, and be judged alone. Son of Adam, you are the one concerned; it is you who are being addressed.” Yaʿqub added in his version of the report that it was transmitted “from Salih Abu ʿAmir al-Khazzaz.”
