1532 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ṣāliḥ ibn ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abū Usāmah narrated to us, from al-Rabīʿ ibn Ṣubayḥ, who said:

“We were sitting with al-Ḥasan when he delivered an admonition, whereupon a man began to sob. Al-Ḥasan said, ‘By Allah, on the Day of Resurrection Allah—exalted is He—will surely ask you what you intended by this.’”
