1509 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Nasr ibn ʿAli narrated to us; Miskīn ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Tāji narrated to us; Abū ʿAbda, the companion of ad-Dastuwāʾī, narrated: I heard al-Hasan, commenting on Allah’s—Exalted is He—words, “then they repent shortly thereafter” (al-Nisāʾ 4:17), say: “That means before the death-rattle reaches the throat.”
