1492 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ahmad narrated to us; Ibn ʿUlayyah narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, who said: “If the prayer does not restrain a person from faḥshāʾ (indecency) and munkar (wrongdoing), it only drives its performer further away.”
