1458 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAli ibn Muslim narrated to me; Sayyār narrated to us; Jaʿfar narrated to us; Ibrāhīm ibn ʿĪsā al-Yashkurī narrated: I heard al-Hasan—whenever a man devoted to this world was mentioned—say, “By Allah, the world did not remain for him, nor did he remain for it; he was not spared its consequences, its evil, or its reckoning. Indeed, he was taken out of it wrapped in a mere rag.”
