1455 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAli narrated to us; Siyyar narrated to us; Jaʿfar narrated to us; Hawshab narrated: I heard al-Hasan say, “By Allah, the Children of Israel worshipped idols after having worshipped the Most Merciful—exalted is He—because of their love for the dunya (worldly life).”
