1435. ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, my father narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us, ʿĀṣim ibn Abī Qazaʿah narrated to us, Ghailān ibn Jarīr narrated to us, from ʿAsʿas ibn Salamah, who used to say:

“Commit yourselves to setting out at dawn and returning at dusk—taking a share of travel in the depth of night as well—while maintaining isti​qāmah (steadfastness).”
