1404 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Shaybān ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to me; Abū Hilāl narrated to us, from Qatādah, who said: Muslim ibn Yasār said: “Work as someone whose salvation depends on nothing but his own deeds, and rely (on Allah) with the reliance of one who knows that nothing will befall him except what Allah has decreed for him.”
