1399 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ahmad ibn Ibrahim narrated to me; Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us; Kahmas narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Muslim, from his father, who said:

He heard me as I was saying, “aʿūdhu bi-s-samīʿi l-ʿalīm(i) mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm, inna Allāha huwa s-samīʿu l-ʿalīm (I seek refuge in the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the accursed Satan; indeed Allah is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing).” ʿAbd Allah added, “My father taught me and said, ‘Say it exactly like this.’”
