1394 – ʿAbdullah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Abu Dawud narrated to us; ʿImran narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Muslim ibn Yasar, who said: “I was struck by a serious illness, and I found nothing that put my heart more at ease than the company of a group of people I loved—whom I loved solely for the sake of Allah, exalted is He.”
