Al-ZuhdAhmad Ibn Hanbal
  1. ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Nasr ibn ʿAli Abū ʿAmr narrated to me; ʿUmārah ibn Abī Shuʿayb narrated to us; Mālik ibn Dīnār said: “We used to visit ʿAbd Allah ibn Ghālib. One of his little boys—one of his own children—would come up to him, and he would say, ‘My son, go back to your mother; do not distract us from the remembrance of Allah.’ He would then resume his remembrance of Allah—may He be exalted.”
