- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAli ibn Muslim narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us; Ḥammād narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from ʿAbbās, who said: “I said to Mutarrif, ‘Between me and the mosque are some ruined plots in which there are dry ʿadhirāt (dried droppings), and in front of them lies wholesome soil.’ He replied, ‘The clean earth purifies the foul earth.’”
١٣٦٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِمُطَرِّفٍ: إِنَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الْمَسْجِدِ خَرَابَاتٍ فِيهَا عَذِرَاتٌ يَابِسَةٌ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا أَرْضٌ طَيِّبَةٌ فَقَالَ: «الْأَرْضُ الطَّيِّبَةُ تُطَهِّرُ الْأَرْضَ الْخَبِيثَةَ»
