- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAffan narrated to us; Mahdi narrated to us. He said: I heard Ghaylan relate from Muttarrif, who said: I heard him say, “Whoever wishes to know the standing he has with Allah, let him look at the standing he accords to Allah.”
١٣٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ غَيْلَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ مَا لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ مَا لِلَّهِ عِنْدَهُ»
