- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Wahhab narrated to us; from Ishaq; from Mutarrif, who said: “The habitual excuse-maker is a brazen sinner, and the habitual reproacher is one who provokes anger.”
١٣٤٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: الْمُعَاذِرُ مُفَاجِرٌ وَالْمُعَاتِبُ مُغَاضِبٌ "
