1295 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said, “My father related it to me.” ʿAffan narrated to us; Arʿarah ibn al-Birind narrated to us; Ibn ʿAwn, on the authority of al-Hasan, said: Al-Ahnaf ibn Qays declared, “I am not naturally forbearing, but I make myself act with forbearance.”
