1266 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; al-Hasan narrated to me, from Ḍamrah, from Sadaqah ibn Yazid, from Ṣāliḥ ibn Khālid, who said:
"When you intend to perform any act of goodness, regard people as you would cattle—while never looking down on them."
١٢٦٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَعْمَلَ، بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ فَأَنْزِلِ النَّاسَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْبَقَرِ إِلَّا أَنَّكَ لَا تَحْقِرُهُمْ "
