1261 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Abu Muʿāwiyah al-Ghalābī narrated to us; a man from ʿĀmir’s own people related to me:
ʿĀmir once visited a woman of Balʿanbar to console her over a brother of hers—the last survivor of her family. He said to her, “Seek comfort in the Quran, for whoever does not take the Quran as his consolation will have his soul torn apart over this world.”
