- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, saying, “I recited this ḥadīth to my father.” Muhammad ibn Muṣʿab then related: “I heard Makhlad report from Hishām, from al-Ḥasan, that ʿĀmir once entered a mosque and overheard a group of people discussing the worries they faced in earning their living. ʿĀmir said, ‘By Allah, you have indeed spoken truthfully about yourselves. Yet, by Allah, if I am able, I will reduce every anxiety to a single anxiety.’ Al-Ḥasan added, ‘And he did so—may Allah have mercy on him.’
