- ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; Ibrāhīm ibn al-Ḥasan al-Bāhilī told me; Abū ʿAwanah informed us, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said:
“No group of people gathers in one of the houses of Allah to learn His Book and study it together without the angels surrounding them, mercy enveloping them, and Allah mentioning them among those who are with Him. And no person sets out along a path seeking knowledge but that Allah thereby makes easy for him a path to Paradise.”
