1224 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: My father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Aʿla narrated to us; al-Jariri informed me, from Abu al-Silil, who said: I asked Silah ibn Ashyam, “Should a man seek permission before entering upon his parents?” He replied, “Yes.”
