1213 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Bakr narrated to me; Yahya ibn Wadiḥ narrated to us, from Yahya ibn ʿAmr, from his father, from Abu al-Jawzaʾ, concerning the verse: “except those who come to Allah with a sound heart” (Surah al-Shuʿarāʾ 26:89). He said, “la ilaha illa Allah (there is no god but Allah).”
