1204 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Bakr narrated to us; Abu Muʿawiyah narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from ʿAtaʾ, from Ibn ʿAbbas, who said: “I saw Tamim al-Dari preaching in the time of ʿUmar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), that is, offering admonition.”
