1194 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Bakr narrated to us; Abu al-Aḥwaṣ narrated to us, from Manṣūr, from Sālim ibn Abī al-Jaʿd, from Thawbān, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Remain upright, though you will never be able to do so exhaustively; and know that among the best of your deeds is ṣalāt (the prescribed prayer), and no one keeps up his wuḍūʾ (ritual ablution) except a believer.”
