1192 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Bakr narrated to us; Abu Khālid al-Aḥmar narrated to us, from Muhājir, who said: I heard Ibn ʿUmar say: “Whoever enters the marketplace and proclaims: lā ilāha illā Allāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu al-mulk wa lahu al-ḥamd wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr (There is no deity except Allah alone, without partner; to Him belongs all sovereignty and to Him is all praise, and He has power over all things), Allah will record for him one million good deeds, erase from him one million evil deeds, and remove from him one million faults.”
