1186 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Muhammad ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Numayr told me; Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Layth, from Tawus, who said: “The person whose voice is truly the finest when reciting the Quran is the one who fears Allah the most—exalted is He.”
