- ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; al-Walīd ibn Shujāʿ related to me; ʿAṭāʾ ibn Muslim al-Khaffāf reported: I heard Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿAlqamah recount—on the authority of Abū Salamah ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from Abū Hurayrah—that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“On the Day of Resurrection the tyrants and the arrogant will be brought forth as men in the form of tiny ants. People will trample them underfoot because of how worthless they are in Allah’s sight, until judgment among humankind is concluded. Then they will be driven to the ‘Fire of Fires.’”
It was asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what is the Fire of Fires?” He replied, “It is the run-off—the molten discharge—of the inhabitants of Hell.”
١٢١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْخَفَّافُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «يُجَاءُ بِالْجَبَّارِينَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ رِجَالًا فِي صُورَةِ الذَّرِ يَطَؤُهُمُ النَّاسُ مِنْ هَوَانِهِمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ – Exalté soit-Il –، حَتَّى يُقْضَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ» قَالَ: «ثُمَّ يُذْهَبُ بِهِمْ إِلَى نَارِ الْأَنْيَارِ» قَالَ: قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَمَا نَارُ الْأَنْيَارِ؟ قَالَ: «عُصَارَةُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»
