1163 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from al-Awzaʿi, from Bilal ibn Saʿd, who said:

“I witnessed them racing back and forth between the archery targets, laughing with one another; yet when night fell they became like monks in worship.”
