Al-ZuhdAhmad Ibn Hanbal

1161 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; al-Hasan narrated to me; Ḍamrah narrated, from Ibn Shawdhub, who said: Maʿadhah said, “Silah would leave the masjid in his house for his bed only by crawling. He would remain standing (in prayer) until fatigue overtook him, so he could reach his bedding only on all fours.”
