1141 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us; Aban narrated to us; from Qatadah; from Rufaʿ; from Sahl ibn Hanzalah al-ʿAbshami, who said: “No people ever gather to remember Allah—glorified and exalted is He—without a caller proclaiming to them, ‘Rise, you are forgiven; your bad deeds have been exchanged for good ones.’”
