1135 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: My father narrated to us; Ḥajjāj narrated to us; Jarīr informed us, from Sulaymān ibn Shuraḥbīl, from Abū Umāmah, who said:

“Recite the Qur’an, and do not let the hanging muṣḥafs delude you, for Allah—exalted is He—does not punish a heart that serves as a vessel for the Qur’an.”
