1107 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Dawraqi narrated to us; ʿAnbasa ibn Saʿid al-Qurashi, the brother of Yahya ibn Saʿid, narrated to me; Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us and said: “No report of worship that has reached me concerning any of the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) matches what has reached me about Tamim al-Dari. He would recite the Quran standing, he would recite the Quran while bowing, and he would recite the Quran while prostrating; and he once performed the pilgrimage khabbaban (at a brisk trot, on foot).”
