1105 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿUmayr narrated to us; ʿAbbād narrated to us; on the authority of al-Hasan, who said:

People said to Samura, “Your son did not sleep at all last night.” He asked, “Was it basham (the discomfort that comes from overeating)?” They replied, “Yes, it was basham.” He said, “Had he died because of that, I would not have performed the funeral prayer for him.”
