1091 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Harun ibn Maʿruf told me; Jarir narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Abu Ṣalih ⦗161⦘, from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah—glorified and exalted be He—said: ‘I have prepared for My righteous servants that which no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, and has never crossed the heart of any human being.’” Abu Hurayrah added: “Recite, if you wish: ‘No soul knows what comfort is kept hidden for them of delight for their eyes’ (Surah al-Sajdah 32:17).”
١٠٩١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي ⦗١٦١⦘ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: " قَالَ اللَّهُ – Exalté soit-Il –: اتَّخَذْتُ لِعِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ " قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: اقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ: ﴿فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ﴾ [السجدة: ١٧]
