1083 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: “I came across, in the manuscript of Muhammad ibn Hatim written in his own hand, a report from Bishr ibn al-Harith stating that Ibn ʿUmar said: ‘I would not mind if I possessed gold equal in size to Mount Uhud, so long as I knew its exact amount and paid its zakah (obligatory alms).’” Bishr added, “Ibrahim ibn Saʿd is the one who conveyed this to us.”
