- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Shayban ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Rashid narrated to us. He said—[21] and Makhhul told me, from Kathir ibn Murrah al-Hadrami, from Nuʿaym ibn Hammad, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that he said: “Allah, exalted is He, declares: ‘O son of Adam, perform four rakʿahs for Me at the beginning of the day, and I shall take care of you for the rest of it.’”
١١١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ قَالَ: ⦗٢١⦘ وَحَدَّثَنِي مَكْحُولٌ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " قَالَ اللَّهُ – Exalté soit-Il –: صَلِّ لِي ابْنَ آدَمَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ أَكْفِكَ آخِرَهُ "
