1075 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: My father narrated to me; Wakiʿ narrated to us; Mughīra ibn Ziyād narrated to me, from Nāfiʿ, that Ibn ʿUmar sold a plot of land he owned for two hundred she-camels. He then donated one hundred of them in the cause of Allah—Exalted is He—and made it a condition upon their new owners that they were not to sell them until they had gone beyond Wādī al-Qurā.
١٠٧٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنِي مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، بَاعَ أَرْضًا لَهُ بِمِائَتَيْ نَاقَةٍ فَحَمَلَ عَلَى مِائَةٍ مِنْهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ – Exalté soit-Il – وَاشْتَرَطَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهَا أَنْ لَا يَبِيعُوا حَتَّى يُجَاوِزُوا وَادِيَ الْقُرَى "
