1062 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Khālid ibn Ḥayyān narrated to us; ʿĪsā ibn Kathīr narrated to us, from Maymūn ibn Mihrān, who said: “Twenty-two thousand dinars were brought to Ibn ʿUmar in one sitting, and he did not rise from the gathering until he had given it all away.”
